SOCIAL MINISTRYA generous man will himself be blessed for he shares his food with the poor.  Proverbs 22:9

  • Trinity's social Ministry conducts three large food drives throughout the year.  Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
  • Church members donate the food items and gift cards and a turkey or ham.  Our families include less fortunate church members and member referrals.  In addition at Christmas time church members donate gifts (angel tree) to the needy children in our area.  The gifts are given to children of members and children referred by members.  We also provide gifts to Lutheran Child and Family Services (LCFS), South Suburban Crisis Center, Tinley Park Food Pantry, Pregnancy Assistance-South Suburbs (PASS), and Safe Families Services.
  • If you know of anyone who could use the ministries assistance please call Joan Miller or Char Hyre. Our meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 6:00pm in the Trinity Room.
