- If you wish to download a sermon for later listening offline or loading to your iPod or mp3
player, these steps should be helpful.
- On the "Sermon Recordings" web page, select the sermon you want to download
( under the Sermon Date column).
- Right click on your choice. A menu window
or dialogue box will open as shown below:
- A menu window will open to offer you a
number of choices - select "Save
link as...." and left click. (choice is highlighted
in pink - shown above)
- A window will open offering you a destination
(or computer directory) to save your file (shown below).

- Now it is time to find a place to save
the file. The Desktop is a handy place to temporarily save
the file. Locate the "Save in:"
area at the top of the window (green
"A"). Left click on the "pull down arrow"
to open the "pull down box". Use the mouse to highlight
the Desktop and left click. Observe the Desktop will appear
in the "Save in:" window.
- You may enter a new name (one you can remember!)
in the "Filename: area at the bottom of the window (red
"B"). Be sure to retain the ".mp3"
filename extension.
- Left click the Save
button. Wait while the file downloads to your Desktop.
- Minimize your windows to view the desktop.
If you double left click on the new icon on the desktop representing
the newly downloaded sermon, the computer's default media
player will play the message. Normally the browser will start a suitable audio mp3
player. Examples will be Windows Media Player, WinAmp, or
Quicktime Player. See the previous page if you need to download
a media player.
- Once the file is on your desktop, follow
the directions for your iPod or music player for installing
the file into your player. iPod player users often use iTunes
for Windows or their Mac computers.
