Bible Studies
During the school year Trinity offers many bible study sessions to meet your time availability and your personal needs. Watch the weekly church Bulletin or contact the church office to obtain the current bible study sessions in progress. Small Group Studies are becoming important to Trinity's ministries. Check out what this is all about. New groups are forming throughtout the year. Check with Bob Gordon or the church office for latest schedule of group sessions. Adult Bible Study is at 9:30 am each Sunday morning - often there are multiple classes scheduled each addressing a different aspect of the Bible. The Bulletin has weekly listings of the Bible Studies and their location, as well as the name of the leader. Men's Fraternity is an ongoing special study for men of all ages. We meet at 6:30 am Saturday morning. Contact Jim Morrison or Ken Koch for details and how to join this important study. Look here for more information. Other Adult Bible Studies are also held Tuesday morning and evenings on the church premises, and Wednesday evenings at different homes or on church premises. Again, watch the Bulletin for particulars. Confirmation: Students receive Confirmation instruction in the 7th and 8th grades. After completing their catechetical instruction, they are Confirmed on Palm Sunday. Day School students receive instruction in the classroom; Public School students wishing Confirmation meet Tuesday evenings, beginning in September. Adult Confirmation: Special classes are offered for those who are interested in understanding the Christian faith as Missouri Synod Lutherans believe, or who wish to become members of Trinity. These hour long classes are held several times a year for approximately 12 seeks. Please contact the church office for the next scheduled class. Vacation Bible School: Bible stories, music, and crafts highlight this summer ministry to the children or our congregation and community. VBS is usually held the last week in June. The VBS staff involves the children in community building, growth, and fun experiences while learning of the love and mercy of God in Christ. Teacher and teacher aide volunteers are always welcome. Please call Nancy Eberling if you can share your time and energy with these eager youngsters. Visit our web page for VBS.
